The Workplace Improver blog is all about providing the latest information about improving workplace performance for a safer, more productive workforce through using video.

It is written by Marie-Claire Ross from Digicast Productions.

So why do people need to know about how videos can improve workplace communication both internally and externally?

As the executive producer at Digicast, I get to see what great companies do to make themselves even better.

Whether that is providing excellent training videos that upskill their staff or producing informative customer training videos to support customers in learning about their new purchases.

And then there are the marketers who collaborate with us to produce stellar marketing videos that easily explain products and services (not those other marketing videos that confuse and bore people).

So with my lengthy video production experience and my previous life as a market researcher, this blog has been put together to educate and improve business performance through video.

I’m passionate about how well designed video productions can improve both training and business outcomes. And what I love about my job is seeing how our training videos make such a big positive difference to companies.

So join me in finding out the many ways video can be used to improve company results.

You can also watch me talking about company training by seeing me interviewed on the “Technology Behind Business” show that aired on Sky News Australia.

I’m also available to talk at your next conference on topics related to improving workplace training and communication.

Warm regards,

Marie-Claire Ross

I stumbled across you’re site today and would like to thank you for helping my cause in my work place as I try to push us into creating more videos. Our Support Page is beginning to have both text and video support items because some people are better learning by reading while others need to watch it. I’m not sure if our product would fit in with your mission, but video conferencing is another great resource for training/business. This is a shameless plug, but, our product Visimeet (http://www.iocom.com/) let’s you record meetings and share them. We have used this feature to train new users as well as new employees.

Thanks for providing me with materials to back up my own cause!
