The Digicast Training Methodology
The Digicast Training Methodology
Based on research and almost twenty years of making training videos, Digicast has devised a methodology to produce training videos that make training messages stick.
Our hard work and dedication has paid off.
We have recently been awarded the LearnX Asia Pacific 2010 Gold Award for ‘Best Use of Video in a Training Program’ for the results we have achieved for Conundrum Holdings with their induction videos.
From our experience and knowledge, we believe that the golden rule in making a successful training video is to keep changing what is shown on screen.
Our video productions show each scene for no longer than 7 seconds. We then mix it up by using graphics and titles, cutting to a wide shot or close up, using black and white reenactment shots or by using a different voiceover or even animation.
By using lots of overlay shots, not only to explain procedures in more detail, you keep the viewer involved with the on-screen action. We also advocate reinforcing important points with lots of animated titles and interesting effects.
While we create our training videos based upon research, we also create the questions to ensure your staff are learning key information.

Testimonials
Digicast undertook all of the video production services required for the Queen’s Baton Relay as part of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. They were professional in their approach to the QBR. We found them knowledgeable in relation to the technology required to service television coverage Australia wide. The video technology chosen was truly state of the art, and enabled QBR maximum television coverage and quick turn-around for play-out packages to the networks.
The camera guys truly captured the essence of the relay, showing the emotion and beauty of the epic journey. The Digicast crew were always friendly and a pleasure to have in our crew.
